:sl: guys can you confirm that what he said was actually true? Thanks

lol

The trinity is the basis of Christianity, and if the basic creed is so confusing, it cannot be from God. God is not the author of confusion. He sends Messengers to clarify the message of Allaah, but according the Christians when God came to earth he ended up confusing the people [wit the trinity], thus not doing a better job than the human Messengers - SubhaanAllaah; Allaah is free from ALL of their evil thoughts and implications

This video was of course a comedic satire that did the opposite of explaining the Trinity. The video did an excellent job of showing the confusion that permeates Christian theology of which the Trinity concept is central.

This is why atheists are quick to assume that religion's idea of God is the same concept as those adopted by ancient greek mythology.

I was trying to understand the concept of trinity in christianity then a brother liked it on youtube. Was this guy a Muslim?

It can be assumed this guy was a Muslim in that what he was saying is accurate, but at the same he shows the cunfusion about Trinity. He says things sarcastically which means that he says something, but really means the opposite to show the ridiculousness of what he is saying. For example, when he says, "I am going to explain the Trinity so you can understand it and move on to converting.", he then follows this with examples of how the Trinity is completely illogical and can't really be understood by anyone.

The critical point about the Trinity is whether or not Jesus was God Incarnate. The focus in Christianity is really on Jesus and his supposed death on the cross as the only acceptable means for man to be cleansed of his sin. There is no concept of forgiveness in Christianity, but rather only atonement. They teach that God is just and he requires for sin to be punished and that means either accept the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross or be punished in Hell. Islam teaches that Allah (swt) is merciful and forgiving. The difference between forgiveness and atonement is that forgiveness means a striking any record of sin or debt without payment whereas atonement means that someone else pays the debt or suffers the intended punishment as a surrogate.

The Holy Spirit aspect of the Trinity does not really enter into the thinking of Christians as much as Jesus does, even the Father aspect is less important as what they have in their minds centers around Jesus - in my opinion.
