for 24 hours I was wondering which of my posts that broke the patience of the admins and got me suspended.

thought I am banned for Miladunnabi posts.

PS. it's important to have e- mail of at least one participant . So that we can contact to know what's going on in the forum .

As a Muslim , I felt insulted that without any warning / giving me a chance to explain myself , I am out of an Islamic forum .

I don't know if everyone is getting this but, for several days, I've noticed that when I come to islamicboard.com, it redirects me to a page that says account has been disabled. It looked like a yellow and blue page with nothing on it accept those words. Am I the only one seeing this?

me too all day yesterday! i was like :-o

on another note though my (ok not my i am just a memeber) islamic bosna forum was also "disabled" and now it also works just fine...

I was shocked. I thought I had written something terrible and got suspended. Thing is, I was temporarily banned from another forum - lol - for being too blunt [it's not an Islamic forum, btw].

Anyhoo, I am all up for the change.

Yeah I got the same message too. But from different IPs, which probably means:
A) LI crashed
B) LI got an update.
C) Mumm-raa has returned

I was so confused when I read that, so I thought it's perhaps coz I don't ever log off IB :giggling: so I tried using my phone, but I don't log off IB from my phone either, so I tried at uni and it was still the same. I started getting worried coz I thought we would lose posts and be taken back in time like what happened before, so I emailed Rashad and then he sent that message :exhausted

I must say those 24 hours seemed like a whole life time. Shows how much we depend on IB and how addicted we are :embarrass

This has been happening to all of us. Even us admins have gotten the same message. I am not certain what caused it, but just a guess is either v-Bulletin is being updated or there has been a problem with the Host server.

I got the message, IMed Danah asking her whether she knew which one of my acts did the trick, and she was like "Must have been a group crime since i'm getting the same message" ;D

The forum is down. Insha'Allah it'll be up today. It's a long story and I'll post it on IslamicBoard once it's back up. Believe me when I say my life is boring without it as well. You don't know what you have until you lose it.

In the meantime, if you know any other IB members, please let them know the situation as well. It's mainly my fault for paying the dues late... So sorry!

I was actually quite lost when I found the message smacked right on my window screen .... so what did I do? I registered on another forum and my goodness, it's nothing compared to this one ... so I was rather annoyed ..... and was SO happy when I could log in again on IB! w00t w00t!!

Same here. Wanted to advise the admins to do so in the future. Now im glad i didnt. Would make a complete fool of myself

Like I said before, I noticed this last week but it only lasted hours. I messaged a MOD on an Islamic site in which I am a mod and they checked for me, and confirmed that no one could get on.:hmm:

.........And I thought it was because i was the annoying Christian bro;D....but i guess i am not tooooo anoying?.....they still let me log onhew
