As salaam Alaikum,

For people out there who believe that women should also have the right for talaq and be the head of the household...this here confirms 100% why Allah (Subhanahu Wa Talaa) have decreed that only men be the head of the household and only men should be the one that initiate the talaq and the authority given to him when it comes to running his house affair. This also destroys the myth that men are unnecessary. This also destroys the myth of who need men, women can do everything a man can do and better. You have to understand..when you believe men are unnecessary you are actually disbelieving in verses in Qura'an and on top of it..you are saying Allah created something for fun..without purpose and for fun and games just to watch people battle each other and make fool of themselves. You believe that you are out of fold of Islam.

THIS IS COMING RIGHT FROM A DISBELIEVING MOUTH....he confirms 100% that Islam the is the way to go...WITHOUT him knowing it. He gets it from 100% from life experience

Yes we get it. Women are terrible men are wonderful can we move on now?

Stop whining about the opposite gender just live your life. For every thread you post about women it'd be easy to find an article about the terrible things men do

Stop worrying about this and move on

I'm gonna have to agree with Eesa the kiwi. I haven't been on this forum for a year or so, but you're still "shitposting". It's okay if you want to vent for a week or two. But it's taking your way too long mate.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I don't believe this is an attempt to say that "women are terrible". There are groups who are actively pushing this idea of switching gender roles or how women don't need men and vice versa. I don't think it's a bad idea to make people aware of it. Having said that, I'd personally recommend starting a dedicated thread where you post all related material in it rather than create a new thread everytime. Like the threads that Junon made regarding the different situations in the Middle East.

I agree Xbox brother you need to calm down, their is much injustice and unfairness when it comes to relationships I agree with you but your approach wont help you. When we have rude awakenings about the world really works it can be painful but you eventually learn to adapt and overcome it. Remember there's bad on all sides, men can behave badly as well (obviously).

When a society is stripped of morals, rules and traditions when it come to family and relationships then its hardly surprising that dysfunction and breakdown follows. What we are seeing now is a reaction.

Hence you see the wisdom of How Islamic societies (and traditional societies generally) organised the family system in the past.

Its not easy but don't let the negativity drag you down, focus on the positives and become a better person.

Were here to help :)

Edit:

Just to show you that many do women speak out on behalf of men. Erin Pizzey is famous in the UK for opening the first domestic violence shelter. Shes strongly opposed to feminism and the demonisation of men.

Anti-feminist and very smart woman Erin Pizzy, who has been fighting feminism for over 40 years, discusses the early aspects of the movement and many of the tactics they used to intimidate her, silence her and prevent her books from coming out that trashed the movement.
