Translation of Koran

Hi I'm not a Muslim, but I want to learn about Islam, as my boyfriend is a Muslim. He told me that maybe reading the Koran would be the best way to start. I was wondering if there are any good english translations of the Koran, preferably simplified, on the net. Any help will be much appreciated.

You might also want to hear the Qur'an recitations in arabic, because the Qur'an was originally revealed in arabic, and most of its beauty is shown through that language.

mashallah its great that you are intrested in islam, i would recommend that you visit an islamic bookshop were you would be able to purchase an translation of the Quran.
