When I was living in Pakistan I heard on the TV, a long time ago, someone reading Arabic but I can only remember the following couple of lines. I can read Arabic but don't understand it so I'd like someone to translate it for me.

Allahu ba'da kulli shai
Allahu ghafla kulli shai

It'll be much appreciated.

JazakAllah

'Allah (is) after everything' is the first one.

The second one, could you have misheard it as ghafla, when it was really khalfa? Ghafla means sleep/slumber, and it doesn't fit into the sentence. If it's khalfa it would mean "Allah (is) behind everything"

Allahu ba'da kulli shai

Allah is after everything.

Allahu kabla kulli shai

Allah is before everything.

Thanks to both Crayon and Imam.

Is the actual word 'khalfa' as crayon said or 'kabla' as Imam said?

it`s قَبلَ
الله بعد كل شئ (Allah is after everything)
الله قبلَ كل شئ (Allah is before everything)
as (The first )and (The last) are from Allah`s attributes
