These countries are major manufacturers of weapons .. or they are just the middlemen?

They buy weapons from Russia and pass them along. But Russia has nothing to do with this, the listed nations have ownership over the bought weapons.

Those nations are not middlemen, they directly sponser the fighting groups (Semi-Secular Transitional Gov't vs. Union of Islamic Courts).
