Uploadin Pics dont work for meh

i always been tryna upload regular pics just by clickin tha lil paper clip thing up der. BUT CANT. they always say somefin. like "too big" "invalid format" "bla bla bla"
is it just me or does the uploading thing suck big time?
I have to upload everything to imageshack before i put it here, everyone else jsut uploads straight to here. Why?
is there like a unknown hidden other way that i havent figured out in 7 monthes? if so i wouldnt be surprised. lol. i always discovr somethin then feel embarrased to just notice it. lol :-[
 
Are you talking about uploading images to your avatar or signature? Or uploading onto this forum in threads?
 
You have to change the size of the image and it must be Max 97kb or something like that then you can upload it here , you can change the size of the image at http://www.photosize.com/ good luck :D
 
OK well for uploading to the forum:

Save the image you want
Go to (I go to) http://www.imageshack.us
Browse and upload your image there
Resize the image to 640x480 (for message boards) in the drop down menu. Tick the resize box.
Click 'host it'
Copy and paste the link Hotlink for forums (1)

For avatar help, go here
 
So you all upload it to imageshack first?
Well thats what i do, but is there anyway to not upload it there first?
Like even when i was testing it, i made a tiny lil DOT and made it small, then saved, and it still said its too big, or invalid format. its neve ever worked before. and people upload there whole desktop picture, thats not tiny now issit.

It's the size that has to be x x x (x times x), not the content!

For example, this square is for example, let's say 50x50
--------------
|................. |
|..................|
| .................... |
| ...................... |
-------------

This is 5billion x 5billion:

Insert rubbish, bigger example square here

So if your on paint, drag the corner down to make the size smaller.
 
Or Just go to Photosize and upload your image there and then change your Size ,I mean change the size of your image and then save it again :D
 
doesnt work for me either, think theres something wrong with it ah well.

Maybe you paste the wrong link?

Invalid format? Make sure its in JPEG, and not BMP. U can do that by 'save as' and then choose ur format

duno why sound is nt working, maybe the file is to big? Or u cnt upload it in .mp3 format
 
I don't know how big its supposed to be. All audio and video maximum sizes are 195.3 KBor something, and when i look at the things im tryna upload they arent even "KB" they're like "MG" or somehting , i dunno
 
oh u cn only upload up to 193 kb isit? Well a song is much bigger than that! Thats why it wnt let u upload, 1mb=1024kb
