Basically Urdu is the real name of the language initially it was came in to being. It was widely spoken and understood in the soldiers community of Mughal Emperiors. When they found, people from all the languages are communicating in a language which is the mixture of Arabic, Persian, Turkish and local languages, they started promoting it. It was named URDU-E-MO'ALLA which remain Urdu later. Word URDU itself came from Turkish language.

When Urdu got its recognition at the time of independance movement of Pakistan, Hindu community tried to own it giving its script taken from Sanskrit.

Now, after 60 years, both the languages are same in casual speaking. Adding Sanskrit words now distinguished Hindi from Urdu in literature.

Any way, Next word given was

SUST.

I know this is not my place to say, as I hardly ever take part, but is it possible that we can stick to some kind of a convention when spelling words. eg letters with a heavy sound should be spelt in capitals eg haDDi = bone, instead of haddi, and seeRhi = stairs, instead of seeri, aaTa instead of aata (for roti flour).

Only because there are members who take part, who know a bit of Urdu, but it's not their first language, and it makes it confusing for them.

Just an idea, but up to you. Jazaakumullah khair.

Chust =fit, or active?
Next = darust
