Assalam wa alaikum,

I'm a 19 yr old girl living in America. I am a born practicing Muslim but I haven't been wearing the hijab. I used to wear it in middle school for only one year but was unable to continue. Let's just say I'm really self conscious. But now I realize that I have been committing a sin for not covering my hair from na-mehram and I want to start the hijab and continue with it for the rest of my life. I have 4 sisters and only one of them wears it. And my mom does too, but I need moral support and advice. I know it sounds really stupid when I say this but I am afraid i'll have trouble finding a job. I would like to know some others opinions and suggestions as well. I know it's not that difficult once I start but I just need that little push.
you used to wear hijab for one year and discontinue.Sister first you should do sincerer tauba ask allah(sWT) for forgiveness,as wearing hijab is compulsory ,and it's not too late.
"God accepts the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them will God turn in mercy: For God is full of knowledge and wisdom.Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most grievous."(Holy Quran 4:17 and 18)
If you think that by wearing hijab you will not get job,you are not allowed to do such kind of job where you cannot follow your religion, where you are not allowed to wear hijab. If you are thinking of doing job in industry it is not allowed for a woman to work in office where intermixing with opposite gender is allowed. However you can opt teaching job ,or you can take private tuition to earn lawful money.
i am not a scholar ,It will be better you ask your job related Question here.Explain the nature and environment of work before searching of job.

Ghazal is feminine. It should be, "Ghazal achi hai" or "Ghazal achi lagi" :p

And by sundoor, you mean sundar? Sundar is a Hindi word for beautiful, in Urdu beautiful is khoobsurat.

^ My bad

Jazak'Allah Khair for the correction! Aab sameuj meh ayi. Hmmm...

Arbi sab se khoobsurat zabaan hai.. haan.. lekin sirf jab quraan men istimaal ho jaati hai. Us ke ilaava... "Urdu hai jiska naam ham hi jaante hai daagh, saare jahaan men dhoom hamaari zabaan ki hai"!
