Alhamdulilah, HHUGS have been given the opportunity of a collection at East London Mosque during the blessed days of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah.
Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allaah than these ten days."
HHUGS East London Mosque Collection
Date: Tuesday 15th September
Time: 12pm
Duty: Hand out leaflets, collecting money via buckets, engaging with potential donors
Transport: Nearest Tube station is Whitechapel or Aldgate East. London buses stop just outside on Whitechapel Road (A11): 25, 205, 254. Buses also stop a short distance away on Commercial Road (A13): 15, 115, 135; and on New Road: D3.

We also have volunteer opportunities in our London office this Ramadan. We need enthusiastic volunteers to help us contacting past donors to see if they would like to donate during the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah.

Time: We are in the office from 9am-5pm however can stay later, we would not need you in from 9am, even if you can only do a couple of hours, it would be much appreciated.
Duty: Calling past donors to see if they would be interested in donating towards our Dhul Hijjah Campaign, script will be provided.
