As Salam aleykoum

The other day I wanted to reject the false deity "ra" in egyptian mythology (this false deity has been named "god of the sun")

So I said something like "ra doesn't exist, this "god of the sun" doesn't exist"

So my intention was to reject a false deity that is called "ra"
But then after that I started having waswas

The only true God is Allah.
Allah is the god of all things
And the sun is a creation of Allah so the real god of the sun is Allah

Shaytan tried to make me doubt my intention
By trying to make me believe that I did kufr

But I didn't intend that I just wanted to reject "ra" and reaffirm tawhid

I keep saying to myself "Allah understood me, Allah understood me"
What must I do about the waswas??
I love Allah and I believe in tawhid

Increase your quran recitation and listen to lectures on tawheed. Try to listen to to the lectures on Nawaqeedul islam to revive your tawheed.

Wa alaykum assalam,

You have to ignore all waswas and not pay attention to it. Read what the scholars have said about waswas and advice on overcoming it. Vary your Islamic studies - don’t only focus on studying Tawheed but study other topics too as this will help to give you a balanced and holistic understanding of Islam.

You didn’t say anything wrong 😊
What you said was actually an affirmation of Tawheed.

You were rejecting a false deity and affirming that Allah is the only true God and the Creator of the sun and everything else. That is completely correct.

Allah knows what is in our hearts and knows your intention. You were not praising a false god but you were denying it and affirming the oneness of Allah.

Try not to let waswas worry you. When these thoughts come, just seek refuge in Allah from Shaitan and remind yourself that Allah is the Most Kind and Most Merciful, and He knows that your heart believes in His Oneness 🤍
