Weak Iman?

I don't know why but I feel like my faith is weak for Allah. And if I ask forgiveness, I don't feel anything from my heart. I can only regret mentally. Is it a test or punishment? Or that I have weak Iman? If anyone of you have any hadiths regarding this things, then please kindly reply. Allah will grant you sawab for helping

Assalam o alaikum rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu.

The more good deeds you do and less sins you do your faith increases in sha Allah. Review your action. Think of what sins you have committed? Try to stay away from commitnng them as much as you can. Stay away from zina, music, backbiting gossiping. Speak good words. Seek more beneficial knowledge, try to understand the message of Quran. Apply more sunnah of prophet peace be upon him.
