Heres a particualr thing of interest from my country - Trinidad

I dont really think its wierd but rather wonderous.- just another example of the magnificene of ALlah.

Its called The La Brea Pitch Lake - Pitch is used to make Asphalt.
1. No matter how much u dig out of the lake....the next day its always replenished its self.
2. U can walk on the lake buh a haevy car may sink it and be lost for years and eventually spat back out by the lake some time in the future
3.ther are soft parts where u cant walk ...and well u dont want to sink down in there.
4. there are very hott parts of the lake also, especially where the lake is soft.

This first pic shows water pudles along cracks on the top of the lake.

This second pic show the guy peeling off a layer of "pitch" of the top of the lake

the last pic shows the guy using a stick to pull gooey soft pitch out from the lake.

I can beleive that mon!! My own eyes were out on stalks when I first went to Yemen and saw the way they decorated those trucks ;D

And then after 5 years there, I guess It was starting to rub off on me because I actually started thinking they looked.......er.....nice :okay: :giggling:
