You can open any book outlining the five pillars of Islam and it should have a basic description of salaat. im not sure it that would be in-depth enough.
shiekh al-albaani's one about prayer comes to mind and so does shiekh ibn uthaymeens (or was it shiekh ibn baz, i cant remember)
