What can we do, to remember you ?

Assalamu'alaikum,

It will be 15 years from 29th August when my Nani past away. We are for Allah(swt) and to Him we will return. Well, what actions can be performed to remember him/her in our ibadah? Soo we can remember our loved ones everyday then one specific day that people created for them.

Soo 1)can one engage in reading the Qur'an, by giving a khatm in their name?

2) Read nafl salah in their names?

3) A specific surah from the Qur'an? (usually people tend to read surah Yasin)

Soo can the above actions be done, if not then wot can be carried out?

i no this Muslim brother,SubhanALLAH (May ALLAh (SWA) have mercy on him and grant him Jannatul-Fardows,Insh ALLAH,Ameen)..when he was dyinghe told his wife to read Surah yasin on him
