What did you have for supper?

Again, I had a takeout last night. This time it was deep fried duck, steam rice, some "lalapan" (lettuce, cucumber and thai basil veggies) and "sambal" (extremely hot chili sauce). The duck had been braised with spiced before deep fried, so it was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy in the inside.
The picture shows the duck from the same chain restaurant:

I stopped at a Chinese restaurant and they had a "Lettuce Chicken Wrap" on the menu. Well, I like most of the wraps I've ever had. Usually they are some meat wrapped up in a tortilla or stuffed into a pita along with a few assorted vegatables. This was good, but I would hardly call it a wrap. It was a spicy chicken stew that I had to eat with a spoon and a wedge of lettuce on the side. Have no idea where the "wrap" part of the name came from. Still, it was good. But hard to eat while driving.

My sister-in-law make really yummy BBQ and Spicy rice :D And i prepare Custard Trifle :playing:
