Thank you for your reply Brother.

What you said is all good when you read it. And if you listen to people of all the religions in the world, All are saying the same and YET the humanity is divided. There are 300+ Religions in the world and all say the same thing. There are few fundamental and very essential questions that need to be understood or atleast considered. Please try to understand them. I hope we all will together find some solution to these questions.

Who decides the TRUTH? Who decides which is True or False Religion?
If I am born a Muslim, then my religion will be True. If I am born an Christian then Christ would be the Truth. Who is the Decider of the Truth and Falseness?

Even if we read Bible, its the people who read and then Translate and then divide themselves according to their translations. One Book of GOD and yet they still divide. One Koran, but still more pieces of Truth. One Religious sect translates its own Truth the other Fighting for its own version of GOD.

So Who Decides? Who is Right? Is the Problem with the Book or with us HUMANS? The problem must be US.

If we need to understand what the TRUTH is... or What GOD wants. We need to know GOD first. So here's the most important question.

What is the role of Religion apart from providing words and descriptions of GOD?...Because no matter how much we read, our minds will always have its own translations. And every person will have his own version of GOD.... SO DOES RELIGION HELP US IN EXPERIENCING GOD AS A FACT? Because there is no other way to know what GOD wants. We can read and form another new Religion out of a new Translation. That is already happening.

So, Tell me please. What is the way to know what is TRUTH or how to experience GOD? and HOW does religion help us?

One question at a time.

You asked some questions in your original post and I answered them. Then, instead of reflecting on those answers you post more questions. It's obvious you aren't here to learn but to impress your beliefs on others.

I told you that if you read the Quran, you'll know that it is the True Word of God. Now before I answer any more of your questions or further discussion, I expect you'll at least open the site http://www.quran.com and read some chapters, starting with the last chapters which were revealed first and are for unbelievers. the first chapters contain law for believers. So open chapter 75 and start reading and tell me what you think, how it affected you, do you think it is the Word of God and if not, then why not?

Question: How can the Words, Descriptions, Concepts and Ideas about GOD can help me Experience the actual GOD?

To be in Reality, to be in the everlasting 'test' of life with all its diversities and differences, Do we need Religion? What is the Role Religion actually plays?

Apologies. I missed this post an only just came across it. (I actually forgot I had responded to this thread:embarrass )

I read most of the post since I wrote mine and we do have a variety of comments. It gets more difficult to say things which are not already covered. So I will keep it with the final sentence of the quote above 'What is the role religion actually plays'?

Basically right from the beginning, the messages sent via the messengers were to remind people of the existence of Allah. (We do not need to elaborate on the messages). However, these messages changed over time (again not going to elaborate on how or why they changed). However, the messages were for individual people to find the path to Allah and to practice the ways taught to them to gain favour of the All Mighty as we are all individually accountable for everything we do. That is essentially the role of religion. The path to salvation.

Unfortunately, what has happened is not the fault of religion so to speak but the fault of man. Rather than uniting or having mutual respect for others, religion has been used to challenge and cause divide amongst people when actually it is your own pathway to the hereafter.

Can Religion help us to Experience something that is present in all of US? If YES, HOW?

I believe the answer to this is "YES" if the heart of a person is open to it.

Peace :shade:
