This dua asks to make us from the chosen 'servants' of God, as we ask in Fatihah, the opening verse of the Glorious Quran, we ask God to Guide us to the Straight Path (Islam) among those He has blessed.
The believers who do good and right.
The disbelievers however are insane. Really and factually. God Witnesses to this.
I have disgust and hatred towards disbelief, since God instilled that in me, as He does to His believing servants (Quran).
There is no doubt that God chooses some and some not, that He favors some over others, puts some in high rank and some in no rank, that He blesses some and some not, that He guides some and some not (Quran).
Since God does whatever He Wills (Quran).
There exists not protector nor helper except for God, on God I have relied, in Him I have believed, to Him I shall return, to Him I submit.
