"Practicing homosexuality"? One can only have lawful relations in marriage. Homosexuals can not have a legally valid (islamically speaking) marriage. Therefore any relations they have are extramarital- it's fornication. So basically, their punishment is the same of that of fornicators, providing all the conditions for conviction have been met.

no desire is worth going to hell over. the penalty is dead if you get caught but we are human at the end of the day too so i think its only fair they be allowed help before killing them

the general punishment is execution-agreed upon by majority.
the method of this- there is difference of opinion-from stoning to death, to being thrown off like a high mountain to burning with fire
