I my self do not speak french, we are forced to learning in through out elementary school to high school so I do know the basics but nearly not enough to hold a conversation....

Im surprised majority of people are from Pakistan here

why is that surprising ?? hmm, what did you think the majority of people on here would be from??

also keep in mind this is not a scientific poll and only about 17 people have voted, so you cant base your decision on such a small sample...

Very happy to meet you to. Morroco is a beatiful country, would love to go back some day inshallah. Enjoy your stay here.

what is "javanese"? I did a google search and got something like "island of java" are from an island?
Not all people from Java island are Javanese. Java island consist of three regions, west, central and east. People from East Java, central Java, and small region in northeast of west Java are Javanese. But people from west Java are Sundanese.

I was born and living in Sundanese region, but I am not Sundanese. I am 7/8 Javanese and 1/8 Chinese. More Javanese than Chinese. But many people call me "koh/koko" means "brother" in Chinese language, because they regard me as Chinese.

Other.

*Austin Powers voice* I'm a man, baby!

That's all that matters. Skin color just tells me how close to the equator your ancestors lived.

So can we say that we are neither Dravidian nor Indo-Aryan living in India? :p:

I think we would fall under Indo-Aryan...

There is a community called the "Iraqi Biradri", apparently most of which are from eastern Uttar Pradesh, which is incidentally close to where we are from. Haven't been able to find much info on this community tho. My grandmother's brother apparently traced our family back, but I'm not sure if he still has that information and he lives in Karachi and is impossible to get a hold of :hiding:
