What ethnicity are you?

I am an indian.Can't say about ethnicity my ancestors must me from afganistan?
or Most probably my ancestors were reverted from Hindu religion 6-7 generations before.

I am part Hispanic and part African. No one is really sure because my last name was Bird from my original father. So I could be part white or something. But I mostly looks Hispanic, I normally have long black hair but I just cut it into a Mohawk :p. People always mistaken me for being Chinese (they must be blind) or being white for some odd reason :?

Even in India, i'm an outcast :D same as I am here in the UK... see, over here in the UK, I am seen as a "Paki" (yup, they pigeonhole us all together here) and everytime I went to India, I was that "British guy"... pfft. The only place I've ever truly felt at home, is in Madina and Makkah. No one cared what I was :) because I was (am) a Muslim.

My parents are from the Gujurat, near Bharuch... but even my parents don't like what has happened to the people in our locality in India. Bunch of lying, scamming, opportunistic (not is a good way) thieves, I tell you. Hence, my uncle and father often argue about who will go to India, because once there - it's pretty stressful for them. Home sweet home my left gluteus maximus :D

Is your "hispanic" heritage Mexican-American? I only ask because it is not unthinkable that people might think you have Chinese. A great many Mexican-Americans are mixed with Amerindian stock (unbeknown to them), and it shows up. It can sometimes give an asiatic look.
 
Hispanic. But since there is no Hispania, I'll be specific. Mom is from mid-southern Mexico (S.L.P) Her and her family are native Mexicans, yes with the feathers and all. ;D My dad's mother's family Is spanish, grandmother has the porcelain skin, blue eyes going on, but they settled in mexico when my grandmother married to a northern Mexican man, which would be my grandfather, he says his roots are Arab or Persian, he is not longer here so I can't clarify anymore. Looking at our surname, it would make sense that it's a persian root, since persians went to spain, and from spain to mexico. I've been asked many times if I speak farsi, cuz I look Iranian/Persian. So.....

I just say I'm Mexican if I'm asked. But I don't like to consider myself anything other than a Muslim, because I was raised in the states.... I don't look mexican, yet I'm fluent in spanish. Mexicans are not accepting, Americans are not accepting....The hijab makes everyone assume I'm from overseas so yeah. Identity crisis. :omg: I find it amusing to hear all the guesses of where I could be from every time I'm in public. Them hispanics assume i don't understand what they are saying. looooooool. ;)

I'm just muslim :D It may not be a race, but I follow islam, not some cultural tradition. That's peaceful to me.

Language of Qur'an is Arabic, not English. So, why Arabic Muslim forums are full of Arabs, not Pakistanis?.

Brother, do not say Pakistanis are practicing Islam better than other nationalities, or other nationalities practice Islam better than Pakistanis.

The reason why there are many Pakistanis in this forum is because this forum is English forum. And in average, Pakistanis can speak English better than Muslims from other nationalities. Even many Pakistanis in this forum actually are living not in Pakistan, but in English speaking countries.

Lol just made me smile and I hope you are joking or to me that so proud of you

The country we live in are full of Asians and Westerners. Nationals of this country are 1/3 compare to us (expats). This last 2 months we came across too many Pakistanis and if I will allow my temper to go I would hate all Pakistanis in the World loool

1. We moved to a new apartment and the last renter was Pakistani family, as courtesy we paid for them a month free rent and they would like to move in certain date and we gave them another week. We saw the apartment was soo messy as in so messy, like the trash they used for cooking for years are still in their kitchen. We requested them to clean as they moved out and sadly they didnt, my husband spent many days in Ramadan just cleaning it and its never ending. He was so mad and he told him, this is not ISLAMIC at all, we were so kind to you and you left your trash to us???.... Not to mention there are so much Quran verses sticks in their wall, I wonder inside me how on earth they pray when their environment is so dirty?

Believe me when I see this apartment I didnt like it but hubby said size is so big i think each room is 5x5 so compare to other apartment 2x3, yes I finally agree... even he knew we will spend 1000$ just for painting etc, days after days we discover so much silly things like one water outlet is leaking like crazy and to close it or change the pipe will just cost 10$ but we beat its leaking for years

2. We needed new Split AC for one room (sadly this apartment is not central AC), we bought from One Pakistani Family a second hand Split AC as he advertised it is 1year used. So why not save more than 1/2 of the Price? When my husband arrange a day+time to pick it (his house is like an hour from us), he made my husband wait for hours and in the end didnt show up. So my patient husband come back some other day, when he hires a "Pakistani" shop to fix it, they asked for like 120$ (yeah this is the rate just to put in the wall lool), after fixing it he runs fast.

Well as we all didnt expect, the AC is scrap. it is not working at all, i informed the Seller and he wouldnt pick his phone

My husband tried to speak to him and he always shut the phone in his face, so as teaching of Islam, we must get our rights, he go to Police station just to give him a lesson and Police were contacting him and he wouldnt answer. He then told my husband, I didnt sell you something with Warranty so if its not working it is not my problem etc etc..

I told my husband to calm down and its okay, he tried his best and he didnt allow cheaters to go like that, now I convinced him we will return the AC to him and tell him "If you will return our money its good for you, IF you can eat from HARRAM, if you can feed your children+wife with HARRAM money, then be it, if Allah is not guiding you then who are we to do anything about it, you cannot escape we are all Muslims"

3. Back to the Pakistani Technicians, of course we hire them back to REMOVE the AC's and accidentally they spit in their mouth that this whole AC is not original, the original motor should be big and it is too small and he confirmed its not working. So my hubby got new surprises from Pakistanis and he said, why you didnt tell us from the beginning???

I told him, perhaps he didnt tell coz he will loose the 120$...

4. This Pakistani Shop's stuff + owner are living in my Father in Law's apartment for years, and he was nice to all of them, he lend them 4 AC's instead they buy new ones and rent is so good. Father in law was so upset to find out about it. He wanted to take back the ACs perhaps just throw it away instead of being used by USERs and when he asked them hows the condition of ACs? Lool not to be so surprised, they changed the motors of this ACs and suddenly they said they are damaged etc dramas. They cant cheat my father in law, he is just over 55yrs old and his business are related to Electrical, Mechanical, tankers etcs so he knew when things are changed. Spare parts etc....

And what else is so surprising, my husband informed him the Seller is Pakistani like him and he said, Oh that is harram, okay then sell it to me 1/4 the price you buy it. My husband laugh in bitterness, he said how on earth you can eat from HARRAM?

So yes, Pakistanis made us so angry but it didnt mean we hate Pakistanis, however it is lesson for us and reminder to be careful next time... we were just angry or upset that moment and its always good to remind ourselves, even if we loose or gain sometimes, nothing will change. We are who we are. 1Million dollars will not make us rich.

So I wonder what you mean by Pakistanis are more practising Muslims, even if someone prays so hard, only Allah knows and accept or denied our prayers/deeds. We can't be sure about it.
