Yes, I hate spanish too. :( Probably because of the teacher... Why, oh why did I take that course?
German rocks! :okay:

:sl:
Really interesting thread !!!

I smiled lots ,looking at the posts.....

the biggest smile I had is with your post ,sister Zaara :sunny:

cause of your opinion of Spanish !!

usually Spanish not such language which a person should dislike ,cause upon what basis one should dislike,or be scared of it?!!

Its structure,Pronunciation,Grammar is simple ,It has way less exceptions than any other Romance or Latin based languages ...

one can argue,Spanish is the easiest of all Romance languages and beside English , the easiest in the whole European continent......

German rocks

may be for you or a few sample of neighboring people to Germany, but for the international scene ,German has a fearsome reputation

take a look here to find out upon what basis such fear...

Now let's talk about the language that most languages scholars claims it to be most difficult European languages to be learned.

(Finnish):sunny:

I know it is for you so easy cause it is your mother tongue, but alongside with
Basque language,Hungarian ,considered to be the most difficult in Europe.....

not only I got such opinion from written quotes by languages scholars but also in real life....I met some who master several languages and gave the same opinion...

LANGUAGES ARE FUN?!

No, not really ..they are more than fun, they are a divine sign

The holy Quran 30:22 And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colors: verily in that are Signs for those who know.

one may describe a language to be difficult ,complicated etc.....
but one should avoid offending any language ,if one offends a language is like offending its original teacher (Allah) God forbids......

thanx all brothers and sisters for such interesting thread

:w:

You're post made me laugh! lol I do not find Spanish hard, now after a loong time... It was my lack of concentration AND the fact the teacher simply was awful. It cannot be emphasized enough how awful she was. *shivers*

Anyways, you said:

lol I totally agree Finnish IS difficult! It is not my mother tongue (Albanian is), but you could almost call it that because of the fact I speak it fluently sine I was little.

And about German, oh please! Mark Twain!! *rolls eyes* Although yes, the language has a lot of exceptions. And I had a good laugh reading his tragic experience with the word "Regen", hilarious. ;D

When I was seven, I could understand the language fluently 'cause I had kept watching German TV forever; listened to the language and seen pictures explaining the happenings. Keep in mind, I learned 4 languages (+ a little bit English) fluently by the age of 12; German, Swedish, Finnish and mother tongue Albanian. And out of those all, I found German to be the easiest. You just gotta remember the rules and hear LOTS of German. lol

I believe I cannot find German hard, due to the fact I've known to speak it since I was so young and understand the gramma...

Quote from a site, anwering the Q: what is the hardest language?
German and Russian languages use a punctuation system said to be among the most difficult ones in the world.

I have found Russian to not be as hard as some see it as, same with Serbian. My parents speak fluent Serbian; I have heard the language since I was little.
