I smile when I think about how we got our sense of humor. It's a beautiful gift from Allah, the Most High! :)

Pestering me all day my brotha kept addressing me 'Kitten' instead of calling me by my name lol!.

My lil nephew whos 3 heard him and said 'you are not a kitten you are the best' and gave me a Hug... Awwwwwww!:D

Beat that! Boooyakaaa!
 
i keep smiling most of the time in a family gathering when every one is happy and enjoying

A Visit To The Park.....a real life, true story. :wub:


So we decided to go for walk in the park. My six year old walked with me, while my husband and other two kids went on ahead. I was thus the only one who got entertained by my Little Botanist Expert, who immediately embarked upon a super long lecture about different plants and trees.

My six year old spoke non-stop as though she knew everything about the plants and trees we were passing by.

She had something to say about every tree.

"That is a long tree....."

"That is a very long tree......"

"That one is a big tree....."

"That tree is big, big, biiiiiig!"

"I learnt all about it in my class," she says proudly.

There were the pine cones fallen down on the ground, in much profusion and she had something to say about that. Then there was a tree that had no flowers. She talked about its uniqueness and had something to say about that. Then we came to a tree that had big white flowers.

Our Little Botanist never stopped her chatter for a moment.....her remark about that tree with big white flowers was:

"And this tree is verrry..........."

The hesitation was for about one second as she tried to think of an appropriate word to describe that tree. And she found just the word for it.

"..............DANDELION!"

Waking up with my husband lying next to me.

Enjoying the luxury of a cup of coffee before going to work.

Seeing the beauty of God's creation in every sunrise/set, the birds in the garden, the tender buds of spring, the pouring rain, the rainbow, the stars at night ... etc, etc

Speaking to people in the street and turning strangers into friends.

Watching my children grow into wonderful young adults.

Sharing laughter, tears and life in general with loved ones and friends.

Spending time in prayer with God.

Going to sleep in the security and safety of my own home, in the knowledge that I am not alone.


There are loads more, I am sure, but those are a few that spring to mind.

Today i took my bro to a book reading a barnes n nobles and at the end they had all the kids stand and say what they wanted to be when they grow up
some of the answers were just too adorable like a flavor maker and a super hero
 
The secret to my smile this moment is my beautiful friend who came at my door with a chocolate cake. Made for me♥ lol had to share it with my whole family.

That everyone in my life is happy and doing well and I'm able to wake up every morning and enjoy life all praise to Allah.
