Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah,
For those who have travelled to Makkah or Madinah before — I wanted to ask something more practical.
We all know the Haramain are deeply spiritual places, but at the same time, the journey itself can be physically demanding — long walks, adjusting to the crowd, finding food, dealing with heat, and keeping your energy for ibadah.
So my question is: what was one small, practical travel tip that made your Umrah or Hajj experience much easier?
It could be something simple like a certain type of shoe, how you carried your water, or even how you managed rest and prayer times.
Sometimes these little tips make a big difference for future travellers. Would love to hear what helped you the most.
JazakAllahu khair!
