I never considered any mathematical or scientific miracles of the Quran before I converted to Islam 30 years ago, nor have I since. My opinion is that one should come to grips with the most fundamental belief of the respective religions and to decide which one you will accept as true. The most fundamental belief of Islam is that God is One, without father, mother, son, daughter or equal and there is none comparable to Him. Beliefs about God and Jesus are the keystone that one must decide and make a choice about what to believe. In Islam, Jesus is held in the highest respect given to any human and that is as a prophet, messenger and servant of the One God. I as a Muslim believe 1) that Jesus was miraculously born to the virgin, Mary, 2) that he spoke a revealed message from God to the lost sheep of Israel, 3) that he was not crucified nor has he yet died, 4) that he ascended to Heaven and will return to earth during the Last Days and 5) that he was not the only begotten Son of God nor is he God incarnate. God alone is to be worshiped without any partner. The proper means of worship and how to live our lives was taught by Muhammad in the same manner that Jesus, for example, taught the disciples how to pray when they asked him.
