Whats the difference between the solar and lunar year?

a LUNAR month is the time MOON takes to revolve round the earth [approx 29 days + some hours]
12 of such months make a LUNAR year,
coz ALLAH swt says in quran, INDEED THE COUNT OF MONTHS NEAR ALLAH IS TWELVE MONTHS.........

n solar year, is the time EARTH Takes to revolve round the SUN.
tht's abt 365 days + some hours....

n a LUNAR year is abt 11 days less than a SOLAR one :)
