Asalamu Alikum Wa Rehmatullahi Wa Barakatuh!

My dear sister Imaan,

What is the definition of “favourite forums”? The forums on which we like to spend most of our time? Well then I’ve two in the list and they are the only forums I have joined so far!

One is this Islamic board and the other one is the most anti-islamic forum that you can ever imagine! EXTREMELY anti-islamic, I must tell you!!! An eyesore on the internet! :raging:

And of these two, I first had the chance of joining the Anti-islamic forum. (Can’t give you its link as abiding by the rules of IB forum… Otherwise like thrice before, my post will once again be edited! :p )

I don’t know whether I should call it fortunate or an unfortunate incident. You know, in two or three public lectures, I heard my beloved and respected Dr.Zakir Naik saying that Islamic Dawah is compulsory, and is one of the four criterias for entrance to Janant as is mentioned in Surah Al-Asr. So I wanted to fulfill this commandment and then I don’t remember how but I found myself on that forum.

It was like the biggest mistake of my life…or maybe not! Being from a family which was just a NAMESAKE Muslim family (would hardly even pray 5 times a day), I had to go through a real tough time over there! People would attack me asking zillions of questions and I myself knowing nothing much about Islam, had to search all day and night for fitting answers. And it was one of these searches which brought me here on IB! :statisfie

I have included that forum here as a reply to your post because I somehow loved spending time over there! ...could feel ALLAH there with me! The questions which I would have never encountered in my whole life would be asked and I knowing nothing at all would finally know the answer at the end of the day! It was a clear help of Allah.

“If Allah helps you none can overcome you but if HE forsakes you, then there is nobody who can help you”.

(You know, the forum had a Christian majority which I didn’t know first, and by sheer bad-luck, my very first post was pointing out errors in the Bible! ;D Hee-hee!
Now you can very well imagine the type of responses I might have got…:D)

But I’ve seen changes in people’s views and so it’s an experience which words can’t describe. I suggest you people to join such forums too and flood them with good, Islamic threads. (And yes of course they would ban you after some days as they banned two or three of the already few Muslim members here but why not give it a try?! )

I first planned to join more discussion boards but now after this , I've given up the idea, for hijaab reasons. :)

May Allah bless you all!

Allahafiz! :muslimah:

I am permanently banned from the Ummah Forums. I have no idea about any of the other forums the OP posted.

That's makes two of us, the mgmt there is very uptight, arrogrant and ignorant just like their tyrant dictators back home...

Assalamo alaykom,

I'm a member on only 2 English forums, turntoislam and this forum, then on a lots of Swedish forums for Muslims. And I don't believe the Swedish forums makes any sense to write down here lol.
