we should be fasting according to what country we are in, for e.g. me and other people in england should be fasting when the moon is sighted in England inshallah,

heres a fatwa by sheikh bin baz rahimahullah

http://islamfundamentals.wordpress....or-with-any-country-that-sights-the-new-moon/

Should he fast with his own country or with any country that sights the new moon

but i guess theres ikhtilaf within the ulema

I found it more authentic and logical to follow with those who start fast / brake fast with a concept of
"same day for whole ummah. One wintness(Momen) of any part of the world is enough for to start and brake fast."

Islam is a example of being one (our heart is one, idology is one etc) and This is a example of being one.

Now Alhamdulillah the percentage of these people is growing..
Last "Eid ul Azha" I saw many village/ part of Bangladesh as well as one part of Ahl sunnah in Bangladesh eccept this and also publiashed a book.

But doesn't that seem to be the problem?
Who decides that 'same day for the whole Ummah'?

Do people go by the sighting of the first moon in Mekka? Or in their own country?
Do they go by the sighting with the human eye? Or with modern technology? Or by the lunar calendar, regardless of whether the moon has been visible or not?

There seem to be too many different possibilties to determine one rule.

own country... we in the eastern part of the world cant wait for mecca... by the time they started observing the moon... we already hit the midnite time...

but for hajj day, every Muslims should follow Mecca as the Day of Arafah (9th of Zulhijjah) happens only in Mecca... but my country would still sighting the moon on our own...
