Where are you from?

  • Total voters
    0
Southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and the North American mainland, east of Central America, and north of South America. (wikipedia)

India, also known for its diversity in cultures and different religious beliefs.

This poll doesn't help much in terms of propagating global Islam - whereas it does help in aiming cultural emotional flutters at individuals.
Vote if you want to - but just be aware of how statistics are used by mischiefmongers to target false propaganda at people.

Asalamu Alaikum

I agree, not to mention the disgusting racism and ethnic nationalism among Muslim communities.

May Allah Azza Wa Jal severely punish those who hold such views and guide them to the straight path.

Ameen

i don't really understand why is there a problem with this poll, as i see it shows there are people here from various parts of the world... why is it bad? anyway... one + from (Eastern) Europe...

I'm not saying that there's a problem or that it's bad in itself - just reminding from experience about the fact that i've seen how demographic maps and stats are used in advertising, audience cheerleading, and voter targeting - and the fact that those fake Muslims who come out with ridiculous stories that are so obviously fake - usually are doing it based on a perception of the audience - although there are software programs that can make highly accurate guesses and categorise perception targeting based on multiple observations.
perconally - i normally only give information necessary or helpful for the purpose of passing on the message i want to get across, but i usually avoid freely stating such information irrelevant to the message and more relevant to thos3 involved in emotion targeting.

Eg: most people on a given forum are found to be of pakistani origin - troll vomez up and targets non muslim audiences and the pakisni origin Muslim audience by making up stupid fake stories about taweez, black magic, and forced marriage.
Turkish origin- troll comes up using kemalist vs gulenist arguments to create division, and fight that take place in europe over turkish voting to deter europeans.

Bangladeshi - the pakistan army atrocities during 1971 (although many were carried out by the indian army - a fact less mentioned in secular news) - with an implication that pakistan is islamic and that bangladesh is secular - even though both nations initially separated as one after british secularist colonialist engineered hindu-muslim communal violence and after many people joined the pakistan army out of bitterness and a keen sense of vengeance for the experiences during partition.

Iraqi - sunni-shia divide....

..... i actually believe that the interactive maps that can result from these polls are quite useful for those with good intentions, but they are much more useful to cultural baggage targeting touts.

But please don't allow one person's dubious apprehension alone to deter you, rather evaluate what is good and best in Allah's sight.

...some of you will probably think i'm crazy when i state that traditional ballot voting in secularist usurer over-run countries is primarily for perception analysis and management purposes - and that the candidates themselves are usually a pre-picked bunch of shills or at least those seen as most likely to compromise more in a hopeless (for the usurers) situation - but hey, i'm past the cowering from rolling eyes stage.

This should give you an idea of the truth of the situation and can be used to understand how in the numbers game, propaganda too is logically targeted based on the same type of binary design.

I somehow agree with Abz2000 although I do like the diversity. There has been a lot of racial and regional discussions in this forum in the recent years which the forum is not intended to be..Our diversity is a sign of Allah but we must make it a matter of friendship not enmity.

Nope, I'm naturally Romanian, not a Muslim from Turkey. But a Romanian Muslim. Got it?

Lol. If you are from Romania ofcourse you are not from Turkey. There is a small Muslim minority in Romania whose ancestors converted to Islam in the Ottoman era. I wondered whether you were from that community

Oops my bad. I'm sorry, I never thought about it. So, I don't know.
Do you actually mean in Medieval Era? Because, Ottoman empire existed in Medieval Era and ceased to exist alongside with Medieval Era, and then Turkey was born, if I'm not mistaken.
