Salam,

The UK is okay getting over Thursday as Reading is in the South East, even though we are 40 minutes away from London traffic through Reading was gridlock :thumbs_cos of Thursday (M4 traffic). Besides that Uk today was quite hot...

Whats it like where u are? :)

Hey sis,
The place where i am living is sooo horrible!! I say this cuz' there isn't good Muslim communities and there aren't very good ppl that live here!! We want to move to a place where we can find good Muslims!! I am not saying that there aren't good Muslims here but. Okay!! Besides the ppl the weather's are bad!! Like right now its summer and it is very very hot!! No matter what clothes you wear you will still be hot!! One time it got soooo hot that it reached 100 degrees!! the winters are really cold and the fall feels like winter instead of feeling like fall!! I think that there is soo many things wrong with Michigan that i can't even explain it!! It's tough to live like this!! :'(

That's why my family and i wanted to move!! We went to soo many places to see if we can move there and we just can't decide on where to go!! With a big family like mine you'll get soo many diff. Opinions!! :D

Heya,
We have loads of family in the states... One family is in New York and they are considering moving to the UK as their children are quite young still and in the long term it will benefit them. On the other hand i have an uncle in Arizona Phoneix and he is really happy there. There is some Muslim community not loads but he is happy with his family. But then again if its hot in Michigan then Arizona surely has to b worse! :omg: If u consider Uk theirs loads of Muslim community, where i study there is barely no muslim community, but where i live there is loads. The funny thing is being the Uk, i say i wish i was in the states not 4eva but for a while :shade: cos theres sumthin quite bizaare about it but at the same time i like the reality that the people the Uk live in, more so than those in the states. But yeah Uk is not a bad country in my opinion its okay soooo far...

Hey pinkrose, why don't you come to Birmingham (England)? Theres lotsa Muslims, different kinds of cultures and gud jobs. There's good Muslim communities (although sadly there are different sects), but overall, its cool living here (but living in the Arab world somewhere would be great :D ).

Take care

Yes I think all Americans from the southern State are redneck anti-semites, especially those with japanese names!!!

I live in the UK, I live here because I was born here, so were my parents and their parents and their parents and their parents stretching back to the time when there was no such thing as the United States, Christoper Columbus was not born and then further.

Why do you live in the USA?

Peace

Wow! I can't believe you would make such a statement and then sign it with "peace." Evidently, you have as much to learn about the southern part of the United States as I have to learn about Islam. By the way, my user name is not my real name. I chose that because it was a motorcycle that my husband used to own. Do you also have issues with Japanese?

I live in the U.S. because it is where I was born and because I can't think of anywhere else I would prefer to live. Unlike some who have posted on this board, I happen to love my country. So, no need for me to leave. But that is the great thing about living in a free nation, if I'm unhappy here, I can choose to leave any time. There is nothing keeping me here.

I just don't understand why others who seem to be miserable in either the UK or the USA would choose to stay if they are so unhappy, think so poorly of their country, and/or think there is something much better out there. There are long lists of people trying to get into the U.S. to be citizens. I would much prefer that they be here with me than those who hate it here. Why stay if you are so miserable? Go where it makes you happy. Life is too short to be so miserable. The world is big....surely there is another place where you can find happiness.

I think he was being sarcastic.

America is indeed a nice enough country. :)

I just don't understand why others who seem to be miserable in either the UK or the USA would choose to stay if they are so unhappy, think so poorly of their country, and/or think there is something much better out there.
Because it's funny.

I find happiness in wisecracking and cynicism. I am seriously mucked up :)

I know you meant this jokingly but I wanted to clarify that I have many British friends and "hate" is not characteristic of all Brits.

Indeed. Irony on the other hand is a very British characteristic ;)

The fact that you placed a smiley face at the end of your statement tells me that you are joking. I enjoy wisecracking and cynicism at times too but when someone makes statements that appear to be serious and do mean it jokingingly, it would be helpful if there was a smiley to help ensure that it is taken that way. I haven't been here long enough to "know" who is joking and who isn't.

I understand. Don't feel bad if you can't spot the humour behind my remarks - hardly anyone can.

Unless they're wearing white coats and wielding large syringes.

(note:that was a joke my friends. I'm not THAT loony... yet)

Re: Where Do you Live?

I live in the United Kingdom, A.K.A. UK. I also live in Leicester which is located deep inside this UK. I have to give my vote to the U.A.E, A.K.A. United Arab Emirets.

P.S: I seriosly should stop reading those old english plays...

Re: Where Do you Live?

When I said the best Muslim country I meant the country which follows the Islamic law correctly and also a country economically good.
