I know there are many Muslim communities in the u.s. There certainly are many practicing Muslims...like those you actually want to be around being because they make you want to become a better Muslim. I don't know about the other places in the u.s. though but seeing as how sis Pinkrose describes it she doesn't sound like she's kidding...Maybe you should move to sis.the weather's not too hot here during the summer.

Here is my modest opinion about where I live:
Extraordinarily multicultural, with respectable citizens that share parallel goals for unity and peace. Indeed this Toronto is a site well established, with citizens who have left most of the nations of the world to live in a humbling area. When in Toronto one cannot ignore its beautiful decorated people with their vibrant hearts and outlook. In fact, such a place would be ever accepting of Muslims. The masjids are now out numbering the Buddhist and Hindu temples, synagogues and in soon time (by the Grace of Allah SWT) the Churches and Cathedrals. All in all, the city is phenomenal, the people are unique and practising Islam is ever so easy. If not for its law that allows same sex marriages I would consider Toronto to be a Muslim country (even though it’s a city). In truth, Toronto, as secular as it may seem is better accepting of Islam than most nations which govern by the banner of Islam.
RSX, I refuse to allow people on this forum to believe that Beer and Hockey rule Canada. In reality, hard work and determination with lots of dedication for utmost democracy rules this great nation called Canada. With Toronto being the heart of it!
In case anyone is a little confused, I’m a Muslimah living happily in Toronto, Canada.

I know even here in Cali there is a lot of fitnah, but I don't its all white thrash. There are a quite bit of those are civilised and normal.
And alhamdulillah in the area of Cali I'm living the Muslim community is pretty big. :wub:
