Angels are real and exists, it's the Truth. They have wings as described in the Quran. I been lucky and blessed (all thanks is due to God) to have had a Vision of an angel, a quick showing of an angel, she had two white wings, as described again in the Quran.
They are God's worshipping-slaves and do whatever job He Commands them to.
God is Great and Divine and Holy, of course God had to send an angel to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in order to convey the message and information (Knowledge) God had to mankind. Never ever could God show Himself in front of Muhammad (pbuh) and be there with him giving him the Quran. Just like God reaveled Himself only in a burning bush to Moses, and we know what happened when Moses asked to see God.
Just seeing an angel in it's pure form itself is almost utterly forbidden.
God had to convey His Message to mankind through elected messengers. Through Scripture, through the pen.
That's the only way.
God is Most Glorified, all praise is due to God, there is no other god besides God nor any worthy of worship except God, and to Him is our Absolutely Certain return.

Angel Gabriel is God's trustworthy slave, his face and knees was bowed down when he received the Quran from God.
Muhammad, too always bowed down to the recitation of the Quran, so do I, since I and Muhammad are the same in this matter; we are God submitted (Muslims), and our Religion is Islam (Submission to God.)
In his Absolute Prophethood I believe 100% in with 0 doubt, and in God's Book in which he fought with his very life for, may God grant him peace, I also believe 100% with 0 doubt. Disbelief has nothing to do with me. I can never ever disbelieve (it's IMPOSSIBLE), thus, I shall die Muslim, and God will be there.
And angel Gabriel and angels exists. So does demons. So does satan. So does spirits.
The disbelievers who deny their existence, they are ants, and their punishment is real and true, they will burn in the hellfire, as the Quran, the Reminder and Warner, says, and hell is a real place.
And God's honourable praising angel slaves, will not be soft with these disbelieving donkeys.
God Sees all, God Knows all, God Hears and Answers His believing slave's prayers (and actualizing them into reality), to God is our Certain return!

I do not exactly follow your question? The entire Quraan (literally from the first letter until the last) is a revelation from Allah, through angel Gabriel to Muhammed sas.
Angel Gabriel dictated the whole Quraan to Muhammed sas, and he memorized it. So, its not just one verse.
