Where were you born?

Asallama Alaikum born in Somalia.Lived and spent half my childhood in Saudi Arabia the rest of my miserable teenage years spent it in the U.S.Still a teen in the same old place Insh'Allah next year going to Egypt.That's all Lols :D :D :thumbs_up

and back to what Mujaheeda was saying I don't know what it feels like to forget a language and being the "outsider" but I don't know what it feels like being left out and not understanding the language at all! Especailly when your relatives speak it right in front of your face..lol

i feel you on this one, I'm half moroccan and dont speak arabic so had to put up with it all through my childhood.

born and raised and by the way if your parents are from pakistan but you were born and raised in uk you are from the UK!! lol with pakistani roots.

you know we should just all say Allhumdulilah i am a muslim, without the need for country ties.

Haha..in other words they are 1/2 British 1/2 pakastani

I was born and raised in southern California, USA. I think it's great how diversified we are at this forum.
 
born and raised CANADIAN- a.k.a the "peacemakers" :D the sad part is that i hardly kno how to speak my language, i always cringe from inside hearing myself speak urdu :S
