These ayahs of Surah Al Haqqah make me cry,:'( :'( especially when Muhammad Al-Barrak recites them.

25 But as for him who will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "I wish that I had not been given my Record!

26 "And that I had never known, how my Account is?

27 "I wish, would that it had been my end (death)!

28 "My wealth has not availed me,

29 "My power and arguments (to defend myself) have gone from me!"

30 (It will be said): "Seize him and fetter him,

31 Then throw him in the blazing Fire.

32 "Then fasten him with a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits!"

33 Verily, He used not to believe in Allah, the Most Great,

34 And urged not on the feeding of Alأ‚آ*Miskin (the poor),

35 So no friend has he here this Day,

36 Nor any food except filth from the washing of wounds,

37 None will eat except the Khati'un (sinners, disbelievers, polytheists, etc.). "

Oh subhanAllah, i cry when I read ayahs in every surah. But I really love listening to surat al qaf, sheikh sudais style. It always makes me cry.

and recently these Ayyats have been making me cry:

Surah Buruj 12-14

Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern.
Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth,
And He is the Forgiving, the Loving,

and also

Surah Al-Qaria 8-11

But as for him whose scales are light
A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother,
Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is!
Raging Fire.

some of the verses which make me emotional are in surah a'raf (7) verses 120-122

But the sorcerers fell down prostrate in adoration.

Saying: "We believe in the Lord of the Worlds,-

"The Lord of Moses and Aaron."

أَزِفَتْ الْآزِفَةُ

57 . The threatened Hour is nigh .


لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ

58 . None beside Allah can disclose it .


أَفَمِنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ تَعْجَبُونَ

59 . Marvel ye then at this statement ,


وَتَضْحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبْكُونَ

60 . And laugh and not weep ,

وَأَنتُمْ سَامِدُونَ

61 . While ye amuse yourselves?

فَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ وَاعْبُدُوا

62 . Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him .

my fav surahs are ar-rahman and yasin...

"That day shall we set a seal on their mouths. but their hands will speak to us, and their feet will bear witness, to all that they did..(surah yasin verse 65)

I've done some Tafsir but it's diffrent since it's in arabic.

For me it has to be ghwluhu ta3aala on the person who goes against Alaah ta3aala's ayahs" and he said o' Allah why have you ressuructed me a blind man and verily i could see (in the dunya), he (ta3aala) said simirlarly our ayaat came to you and you forgot them, and likewise you shall be forgotten today"

I ask Alalh to make us all from those who remeber Allah ta3aala all the time. (addhaakireena Allaha katheeran).
