Ruku is like divisions in a Surah -
Heres a definition:- These are sections of about ten verses or less, they are marked on the margin of the Qur'an with the letter 'ain, with the number of the ruku over it.

Heres the answer^

O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful!

Please can someone else ask the next question, Jazakallah

Next: In what verse does Allaah subhaan wa taa'la say that He has made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, but is there anyone to remember it?

:salamext:

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ
"And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition?" (Surah Qamar)

Which verse is the first that was revealed where Muslims are commanded to bow down in sujud when read?

:salamext:

Surah 7, verse 206?

Surely those who are with your Lord are not too proud to serve Him, and they declare His glory and prostrate in humility before Him.

:sl:

Surah Alaq':19 ?

Nay, heed him not: But bow down in adoration, and bring thyself the closer (to Allah)!

:sl:

ermmm Surah Najm:?

053.062 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)!

:sl:

Wow that was just a guess, but Surah Alaq' was revelaed before surah Najm so isn't the first Sajdae Tilwaah in that Surah?

:wasalamex

Masha'Allah :)

The first 5 ayahs were the first to be revealed, not the whole surah. The ayah in Surah Najm was the first sajdah-ayah.

Al-Bukhari recorded that `Abdullah [bin Mas`ud] said, "Surat An-Najm was the first Surah in which a prostration was revealed. The Prophet (recited it in Makkah) and prostrated. Those who were with him did the same, except an old man who took a handful of soil and prostrated on it. Later on, I saw him killed as a disbeliever; he was Umayyah bin Khalaf.'' Al-Bukhari recorded this Hadith in several places of his Sahih, as did Muslim, Abu Dawud and An-Nasa'i, using various chains of narration through Abu Ishaq from `Abdullah.

Wallahu 3alam.

Wow i learnt something new today, Jazakallah Khair bro :)

ermm in which ayah is the 'major sin' mentioned and is said that it will not be forgiven

:salamext:

Is it:

Surely, Allah does not forgive associating anything with Him, and He forgives whatever is other than that to whomever He wills. (Qur’an, 4:48)

:salamext:

4:116. Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and He forgives what is besides this to whom He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he indeed strays off into a remote error.
