Abu Lahabs real name, to which he re-named himself in his late teens was "Abdul-Uzza" bin Abdul Muttalib (Shaiba / Amr bin Amr bin Mughira bin Quraish (Qusai) bin Abul-Kilaab) and Abu Jahl was Amr bin Hisham . . . :p OK; I will not go into full history, I'll leave the essay to be filled in the a later challenge Insha-Allah . . . :p So, please try again . . . :thumbs_up

My kunya is Abu Mundhir. I witnessed the 'aqabah pledge and the battle of Badr. I am one of the most knowledgeable in the Quran. Many companions have narrated hadith from me. The Prophet, peace be upn him, once asked if he could read a surah to me and he did. On another occasion, I was also asked by the Prophet, peace be upon him, about the greatest verse in the Quran, and i answered it correctly. He hit my chest and praised me.

I am Imam Jazari. Huffaz who memorized Al Quran and received ijazah from authentic transmission from the prophet, also memorized my poem. :p
