Yes but you have free choice. If you would of told me 3 years ago that i would be a Muslim i would have never of believed you. I can not answer why you are not muslim because only Allah knows BUT you have the ability to find out and learn about Islam now, as you never know what tomorrow may bring.
You have the choice to say, yes I'm going to be muslim, or no i dont believe in God. Of course Allah knows what decision you will make but at the end of the day you still have that choice.

Whatever decision you make, or whatever path you take, Allah knows the outcomes of them. Allah does not guide those who do not wish to be guided, I think.

IM sure that the reasons why someone converts to islam are similar to why the deconvert or perhaps convert to christianity, or buddhism, or atheism, or agnostism, or bahai, or hinduism etc...

Of course why someone starts off in a particular area is usually related to what their family is, where they live, social background, upbringing among other things.

you will see that it is really a big difference when you listen to those people converted to islam

they are talking with real emotions and the faith has entered deep in their hearts.

i know that the more that you learn about islam the more you love it and be convinced with it.

and if you are not a muslim then the more you learn about your false faith the more you will know you are wrong.

that is the big difference between the truth and falseness

there are many other who have a story to tell of converting to islam who are even bigger celebrties but very faithful

For example, jermaine jackson who took the masala with him to the big brother house and read all 5 of his namaaz

Also danny williams a heavy weight champion boxer who is now a faithful muslim who was seen praying in his locker room for 7 hours straight

Salamualikum.
Well to the thread title i would answer as i am a revert to Islam, i would highly state how and why i reverted in short inshallah.
I reverted because i found Islam the correct religion for me and to ease my pains and difficulty away, To find the love which i was trying to grasp and to have someone there with me at all times. I reverted by reciting the Shadah.
I am a muslim now and i am happy i am a muslim. I love allah subhwnatallah ALOT it's hard to say within words but it's all in heart! Subhnallah.
