by the way, so there is no confusion im not talking about the bigoted islamaphobic people, these people are often racists and just hate everything that is different than themselves and don't bother to learn about islam, these people obviously are commiting a crime and this question does not apply to them.

Greetings,

yes allot of people just repeated the abrahamtic philosophy of God created everything and the rules so it is a crime if you don't worship/thank him which was irrelevant to my question.
Please can you explain why this is irrelevant to your question?

Per br. Muhammad- should we be faulted if you don't like the 'Abrahamic' responses given?
Here's a new premise for you!
Why do you care/believe it is a crime if you don't accept the other portion which is that disbelief deserves punishment?
I'll tell you exactly why your Q is a non-Q without you presuming it's hostility- for merely stating the obvious doesn't render one hostile!
You want to accept half of your proposed premise as true and discard the consequential part of it. This is called petitio principii!

Someone who doesn't believe in hell for instance has no business asking people why committing murder without repentance deserves hell. Their concern should only lie with what punishment they'll receive in this world if at all. You can't concern yourself with something you disbelieve and coerce others to justify their beliefs to you which on the end you'll find unsatisfactory anyway on the account you've made up your mind that no such place exists or if such a place exists then the punishment is disproportionate to the crime. We'd have to agree on some key points not just a point that you choose to subscribe to while discarding the rest, otherwise it renders this whole discussion moot and null!
Capice?

Best,

I just told you how people don't care for the truth or let it slide. People have the knowing for the truth but still do what they do. Knowledge of the brain is
knowledge of the heart. You can know smoking is bad for you but you don't really show it when you smoke all day every day. People can know Islam is the
truth but can try to cover it up by not accepting it as their way of life because they want to follow their desires.

If that's not your question then please tell us lol

not neccesarily, people have differant amounts of faith or iman as you call it, whilst muslims sin, if they could see for example God watching over them, there iman would be so strong all the time they wouldn't miss a prayer or do anything bad. it reminds me of the situation with one of my muslim friends. recently he said "i am a part time muslim" (in that he doesn't practise all the time) and i asked him well do you believe in it and he said yes, im sure calling yourself a part time muslim is a very bad thing in islam and he knows this so why does he do it? what does he gain from even calling himself that? what desire would he have to call himself that? he obviously doesn't have complete faith in islam.

Kinda answered your own question there at the end, didn't you?

"Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allah and cursed by the cursers.

Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful." (Sura Baqara, 2 : 159-160)
