Windows Movie Maker <_<

I'm in the middle of making a vid and its just frozen on me, is there any way I can salvage and save anything without losing allllll my work? :exhausted

Also, the image I'm using is black and the background of the vid is black aswell so obviously it doesnt show, how do I change the background colour, help? :exhausted

press ctrl + S everytime you make a lil edition ....that should save your work

Im not a video editor and i dont use windows movie maker but play around with the options you'll get it

I hate to say it but you can't change the background it is what is try find a better video making software.I mostly use Cyberlink Powerdirector 7 ultra or Adobe After Effect Cs3 had Sony pro 8 but didn't like it that much.

Sometimes the background is automatically white is it not? :exhausted
