Without Allah
I feel so lost and I don't know where to go
I don't know who to turn to
Nor do I know which direction I should face
I look to my right only to find the world deteriorating
On my left what I see is a lack of compassion
A lack of faith and a lack of trust
I look around, but I cannot find what I've been longing for
Not a thing that brings hope
Not a thing to look forward to
No righteous characters
Only frightful situations and fallible personalities
And experiences that make you want to give up
In search for meaningful treasures I discovered
Something in my very heart and soul
I found peace in my heart and tranquility in my soul
I wondered to myself how this could be
When everything was wrong in the world surrounding me
Then it hit me
That of course it must be
That for sure it has to be
Allah who helped me find this blessing
In my very heart and soul
Without Allah, I'd be nothing
Yes you heard me, I'd be nothing without Allah!
