i've not met many men, the only ones i no r the ones in my family, even then i don no half of them, i guess it is a sterotype that men dont do much housework, plus seeing as they're the ones that {mainly} earn money, and do most of the DIY stuff in the house, they're probably too tired or lack time to do housework.

I doubt even that. women nowdays don't do anything. I'm talking about majority of women, not all women.

Majority? lol thats even worse, I kinda feel sorry for men, they dont know their way around the kitchen, I swear if I am not at home, my husband would starve.

but then arent we suppose to do it before we get married:? i mean, poor guy who marrys a women who cant cook or clean or iron or take care of a child yet :X that would be rather backwards to want to learn how to be a 'women' after you get married...:omg:

sis, trust me he knows.. they just act it out cz they feel so happy when looked after..

lets look at my brother, we spent 3 months without parents and daily tasks had to be shared since we both study and both work so neither had lighter load, for one person to take on all the domestic chores..

yeah, we split, sure we did.. i done all the cleaning 4+ hours everyday and he would do the cooking.. that too once in the day and sumtimes only 3 times in the week.. (bless my friends and family for sending round foood.. alhumdullilah!)

Thou cleans the bathroom after himself and there's nothing worse than walkin into a bathroom after a male specie... thats a universal thing! i've seen my cousins so i guess i appreciate that he cleans the bathroom.. if water was paint, it would look like they tried re-painting the bathroom.. i mean, how much water can one splash while washin their face or havin a shower.. ahh! :blind:

I guess if people clean up after themselves, i say thats 50% of the chores done!

A study done showed that women who stay home and work (house wife chores, errands,etc) and men who go to work every week, both do about the same hours of work week. So women an d men do about 40-45hrs of week every week on average. Some men do lot of over time and some women do lot of over time (at home) but no one should be complaining we do more at home!
 
women do do more housework then men, but its not just housework its the whole day to day runnings of the house also things like the kids, shopping, furniture, its all in the womans hand and choice so its more then we make out, we have to look at the bigger picture
