Normally around this time of year, we hold a writing contest, open to all members.

What are peoples views on having a contest this year, and indeed is anyone wanting to take part?

If so please post here, or you can PM me if you don't wish to post.

If we have enough interest, then we can go ahead and arrange organising it :ia:

This was last year's competition format: http://www.islamicboard.com/creativ...-story-writing-contest-discussion-thread.html

All the participants write their story following those guidelines and private message it to the person hosting the competition. The stories are then posted anonymously by the host in a separate thread, where all forum members can read them and vote for the one they think is the best. The winner is then announced, and members can leave feedback on all the stories if they wish.

Once we have enough interest and it is decided to go ahead with the competition, we can then set a deadline :ia:. Yes, all stories will be fiction :ia:.

Remember to vote if you are interested!
 
I am definitely interested but don't have anything written to enter into the contest. I'll have to write something specifically for the contest. In-sha-Allah

may get involved in short story... we'll see. Past records indicate I won't... but I will try :)
