"Ya Ummati - The Prophets Love for the Ummah”
Biggest online event of the year (insha Allah)

Assalamu alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabrakatuhu!,

DESCRIPTION OF EVENT: A charity event with Eaalim and a coalition of forums (7 Gen, Islamic Board and Ummah Forum /Ummah Radio) raising awareness and fundraising for orphans worldwide and also on the relief efforts with Ummah Welfare Trust. The speakers will talk about the worry and concern the prophet (saw) had for his ummah day and night, even in his last moments in this world! The speakers will go on to mention how we (the ummah of the prophet (saw) ) should have the same worry and concern as the prophet (saw) for our brothers and sisters worldwide. The talks will aim to give us a reminder of the lifestyle of the prophet (saw) and his companions.

I love that Shaykh's last name. Can't wait to hear him insha-Allah!
 
His lectures are brilliant mashaAllah. I remember when he came to our Masjid and did a talk on Qiyaamah. It was really moving.

Phase 2 - Reconstruction Phase

Winter Aid Kits
£100.00 for a kit
Many face the likelihood of freezing to death as the region braces itself for an unforgivable winter. Temperatures are set to drop well below freezing.


House Construction
£1700 or £1200 for each house
Entire settlements of mud-brick houses are reported to have been swept away, major bridges have collapsed.


Masjid Construction
£11,450 or £5,700 for each Masjid
Many Masjids have been destroyed in the floods. UWT is currently undertaking surveys to assess the damage and the reconstruction costs.


Provision of Clothing, Blankets & Kitchen Utensils
£25 for Clothing or Utensils. £50 for Blankets.
UWT will provide clothes and blankets to flood victims within the tent villages. As winter is fast approaching.


Income Generation - Donkey Cart
£200 for a Donkey cart.
Many peoples livelihoods have been washed away, they now need to get back to a semblance of normality, a Donkey cart will be a great way for the breadwinner of a family to generate an income for their continued survival.

We had a quiz show? What quiz show?

Oh that one. Yeah. Well, life moves on.

Seems like it's going to rain here. My mom made me mango lassi. The sisters won the quiz show. I ate rice and roast for dinner. I intend to go to Isha at the mosque inshallah.
 
The quiz was unfair as I am an index finger typer, and my enter is broken.

Had no chance.
