i just want everyone to know that i' m not implying that sami yusuf is a sufi, not that there's anything wrong with being a sufi, actually there is (if your an extreme sufi). imam ghazzali rahimahullah is a well-known sufi, although his views differ greatly from the present day sufis.
remember i said that my cousin calls him that, which is why i brought it up.
and alhamdullilah sister chasingrainbows that you don't listen to that trash anymore. :thumbs_up

The song is so sweet!!! *Though I know its a little mean of me but I detest those little kids in the background. Anyone agree? I feel really awful for feeling that way so I want to know if anyone in the world feels the same way. or else I need to seek some help!

I only discovered the nasheed section of this site yesterday Yummie

My old favourites are Asma-al-Husna on the Bismillah cd of Yusuf Islam and Tala al-Badru Alayna on his salutations to the Prophet Cd.

On this site I discovered two nasheeds I absolutely love:
Mesut Kurtis - Burdah &
Ahmed Bukhatir - Kitab-e-Allah :thumbs_up

I can listen to these all day :shade:

I so like 'aynaa abnaee.' It is sung by Ahmad Bukhatir (Saudi Nasheed Artist). MashAllah, when you watch the video clip to this nasheed it really makes you think. Well,.....it made me cry more than think :-[

But, I must say.....all of Bukhatir's nasheeds are fab! He doesnt need instruments to make his nasheed sound good. The words do that.
