I noticed within the Pakistani community, Tahir and Tahirah are quite popular.

My name :D (It is written in Quran for about 15 times and two times it appear with the name of the Noble Prophet Ibraheem AS :statisfie I love my name in first place :)

So, don't ever call me "Ibn Adnan" if you dislike this name. ;D

Its not actually that i dislike the name.Adnan is a good name (Name of my cousin BTW :statisfie ) I dislike they all end on same sound and majority choose such names that end on "Aan".Like in our lane,there are 3 Kamran and 2 Irfan :heated:
My sis told me that we are surrounded by Kamraans and Irfans :enough!:
 
I love the names Abdullah, Yahya and Abdul Rahman. Haven't thought about girl names... :hmm:

i love picking baby names even though i'm still so young, lol! it's harder to pick names for boys, though ^o)

girls:

- ruqayyah
- soumayyah
- khadijah
- safiyyah (name of my great grandmother and also what i was going to be named :wub:)

boys:

- yusuf
- ibrahim
- can't think of any more

... i had a list (it's disappeared now though :() shows how productive i am, right? lol!
 
also i like to add to my boys list mosa and isa i was looking at prophets names i thought they were beautiful
 
can someone tell me what does the name Ra'ad mean? I have childhood liking for this name, after all he was my favorite character in the cartoon Cabtain Majed. I also find something mystical in the name Yusuf, not a common name in the society that i come from.

sory for off topic but ..cabtain majed.. the arabic cartoons in which a boys play football.. right..??
although i never undersood the cartoon but i used to love it...
