juz wondering what ya'll took 4 ur yr 9 options.. or what r u thinkin of takin? did u enjoi it? wud u change it and if yh what wud u hav done?

Do you mean the options we chose in year 9, for year 10 and 11? If so, I chose geography (was interesting, but coursework ruined it) and manufacturing electronics (double award this was the most AWESOME course ever) and I also took an extra GCSE in Digital Electronics (also awesome)

erm these are the subjects i have.....maths, science, english, (<<< there compulsory at my school)... statistics, geography, art, IT and french....

and if i could choose again i would have swapped art with food tech!

For my year 9 options I chose History, Geography and Media Studies.

Just had a geography paper today...was sooooo easy ;D
 
I did double scence and egslish, maths, citizenship, RE, Textiles Technology, Geography, French, German and Arabic.

> Bengali :p (I wudn't do this one again...coz i duno how 2 speak it let alone ryt it!!!! Buttt some really nice examiner still gave me an A) Alhamdhulillah! :)

Thats sooo not fair! I didnt have the option of diong the young enterprise GCSE. I did the business though came out with a £40 profit and a trophy for the best decorative product. I was so proud of myself until I had to give the profit to the shareholders.. only ended up keeping £5 to myself:'( :'( ... and it was a whole years work.
 
i choose ... i.t ... technology ... and history ... u have to do english maths and science so ... yeah

AWW sis Sarah! Feel for ya sis

I would reccomend young enterprise to anyone..especially if they doing business cause then it's like an easy exam paper....just chilling...the exam was funny cause they gave us an hour an after 5 mins everyone had finished so everyone was sleeping on the desks LOL

Can't remember how much profit we made for business but we had the most and we got a trophy!! LOL

I had to do at least two languages because my school is a Language College. German is quite easy but French is WAY EASIER and Spanish well... to put it bluntly it sucks.
 
nooo sis, my skool is a language college aswell.. we hav 2 do atleast 1.. i do spanish n german, spanish is hardddd!!

I did the paper and I didnt have those questions but they did ask you to mane natural hazards and stuff so you could fit your topics into those categories.

They were okay but none of my favorite ones came up :( and they asked for a case study of population change within a whole country and I couldn't think of one so I made up the facts myself! did my own population pryamids and everything!?!!

Dunno really :rollseyes Our one was about the UK's energy needs and I had to choose out of 4 options the one that would be best for the UK.

The paper was called 'Decision Making Paper' btw...

and OMD...Maths...dont even go there...maths was harrrrrrrrd :grumbling

i like decision making papers, cos as long as you have points to back up your claim then its ok....

and what tier did you take for the maths?
