Does anybody here know what type of rock the Kaaba is made of? I would presume it's metamorphic, since most of the Hejaz is made of precambrian cratonic rocks, but you never know. And if it is made of metamorphic rock, there may possibly be truth in those 'kaaba is made of the oldest rocks on Earth' claims.

About the recording, it was kinda easy for me, cuz we just had our cassette player under our handbag, and alhamdulillah nobody was after our handbag. The people we were around were normal that way though alhamdulillah. (Mostly elderly Turks, Arabs, and Indonesians, so they could care less about our cassette player.) If its safe for you, you can leave it on the floor, but don't risk it... I'm sure if its in your pocket, the sound will come out awesome, given that the Haram'ain speakers are beyond awesome mashaAllah.

May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) accept your umrah. Ameen. Don't forget to make dua for all of us while you're there. :)
