Question About Signs In Makkah (OP)

    Assalamu Alaikum

I need some verification on whether there are signs in Makkah that prohibit nonMuslims from entering the city. A friend of mine is doing research and has heard that the pics on the internet are fake, so if anyone has been there and remembers whether they have seen signs similar to the ones below, just let me know asap!

    greetings..

I really don't know, how many pilgrimages or '3omras' Catholics are obligated to make or where in their religious tenets does it state they should be made? I don't recall Jesus (P) ever enforcing a pilgrimage to the Vatican, but if it is something their pontiff prescribes then I suppose they should get a govt. decree to make it so..

I don't believe it would be the same thing, because making pilgrimage has been the case since the time of Abraham, but I haven't come across anything like it in Catholicism (and I attended catholic school) so who knows? but that is my view on the matter..

2:125 Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the Station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Ibrahim and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in Prayer).

first of all , Saudi Arabia didn't make that law ... its only because of religious texts, not for Muslims in general or for Saudi Arabia in particular.. prevention is not a political decision of the Saudi government as others thinks..

Saudi Arabia made that happens just as any Muslim will do if he get hold of mecca, government do not have to just to follow the rules of the religion, its a purely religious decision, which dictated by the imperatives of faith and religious belief, like the people of other religions in their position on some issues they believe in..

I heard that Muslims allowed to enter Vatican .. the fact that the Christians allowed Muslims to enter the Vatican but the muslims cannot allow Christians to enter makkah isn't fair example 'coz Christians are not role models for Muslims to follow anyway ..as Christians have conflicts with Jews.. Muslim is the same to Christians.

i'm a resident of meccaa ... and let me tell you the some of religious reasons for not letting Non-muslims to enter mecca..

1-Mecca a place of worship. Muslim people who are'nt from mecca only come for worship. if Allah does not call for the will of the Muslim pilgrimage, the Hajj pilgrimage as one of the pillars of Islam, no Muslim will have the greed to reside in Mecca or even visited..

2-The greatness of this place and the sacredness and greatness of religious considerations singled out the meaning of God and the ethics of specific provisions and decrees, draws a religious geographic boundaries according to the different geographical districts in Makkah, this is what in English dictionary called (Geo - religious)

(Geo - religious) means that each geography have its own religious rules.

if u follow it no one will prevent you from entering .. simply Makkah is just sacred place with kaaba sorrounded with mountains and mud houses and most of muslims come for ibadah or worship why do non muslims come to such a place..

to make it clear i must mention this >>

    geographical boundaries of Mecca are:
    A - Area of the Al-Masjid Al-Haram.
    B - Area of Mecca.
C - Area of the local Border of Haram Mecca.
D - Area of the international borders Haram Mecca.
E - Area which after the international borders of Haram Mecca.

each of these five got its own conditions and rules..For example: If a Muslim wants to visit Mecca, he must know the border of the region he will enter to carry out this visit..when he arrived to the border, will do the following:

    1 undress his normal clothes.
2 hair washing and the removal of the specific locations of the body if required.
    3 wear the(Ihram) ritua clothingl .
    4 ablution(whoudho'o) and pray two raka'ah.
5 Declaration of the visit .. Is it the intention of Hajj or Umrah?
6 begins with loud voice that's heard by his surroundings (Labaik Allahuma Labik) we call it Talbiah.

anyhow, In the case of violation of these Terms , the resulting penalty for a Muslim depenpds on the condition.

it's clearly that Mecca is not a city open to all or without conditions for the Muslims themselves.

If u wanted to enter you must follow the same terms and provisions and arrangements for the visit. So,its demanded not be opened to all non-Muslim either.

    thanks
