3.On your way to the Eid prayer recite the following out loud:
Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, laa ilaaha ill-Allah, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, wa Lillaahi,hamd (Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great, there is no god except Allah, Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great. and all praise be to Allah)
4. Arrive to the prayer place early to secure a spot
5. Pray the Eid prayers in congregation
6. Listen to the Imam's sermon
7. Happily greet your Muslim friends. and even people you don't know
8. Those who can afford to may take part in sacrificing an animal (or donating money to have one sacrificed elsewhere) and distributing the meat to the needy
9. If you can, take a different route home than the one you took to the Eid prayer
10. Eat after you have returned home from Eid prayer as the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to do
11. Celebrate this joyous day in a way 10. that's true to your traditions!
