assuming democracy and voting are shirk, and that a democratically elected islamist government is bound to make horrible mistakes because it has both the rage and tyranny of the masses and the commitment to Islam, which together blinds people, how are we to implement majlis ash shura? the democratically elected governments of muslim lands are going to give up their power willy nilly, and attempting to overthrow them would land people in prison or get them the death penalty, for treason. how on earth are we to implement majlish ash shura in lands such as Turkey, Tunisia, etc.?

Voting is allowed in certain circumstances depending on the situation, as for turkey im not sure, but in non muslim countries its allowed if there is benifit & it outweighs the bad.
